Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly, then cut them into wedges, aiming for uniform thickness.
  • In a large bowl, combine the potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, sea salt, and black pepper. Toss to fully coat.
  • Spread the seasoned potato wedges on a parchment-lined baking sheet in a single layer.

Cooking

  • Bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For ultra crispy wedges, increase the oven temperature to 450°F. Air frying is also an option for quicker cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days and reheat in the oven for best results.
